Live Events

Discover meetups, RSVP Going or Interested, host events, and share them with your network.

Live Events is where you find and host professional meetups — in person, online, or hybrid.

Open Live Events from the main navigation (also linked from Discover).

Browse and filter

On the events list you can:

  • Search by keyword
  • Narrow by date (Today, This week, This month)
  • Filter by format (in person, online, hybrid) and topic (networking, workshop, meetup, conference, social, and more)
  • Set a city and state to find events near you

Open any event for full details: time, venue or online link, host, capacity, and who from your network is going.

RSVP

On an event page, choose:

  • Going — you plan to attend (counts toward capacity when a limit is set)
  • Interested — you want to stay informed without committing

Tap the same button again to clear your RSVP. If an event is at capacity, Going is unavailable until a spot opens.

Hosts are notified when someone marks Going. People who are Going get notified when the host updates or cancels the event.

Share

Use Share on an event page to post it to your feed so connections can discover it.

Create and host

  1. Open Live Events, then Create event (or go to /events/new).
  2. Add a title, description, start and end time, and format.
  3. For in-person or hybrid events, add city, venue, and address as needed. For online or hybrid, add a meeting URL.
  4. Optionally set a topic, industry, capacity, cover image, and link the event to a community or company you manage.
  5. Publish the event.

As the host you can Edit details later or Cancel the event. Cancelled events stay visible with a cancelled label so attendees know not to show up.

Tips

  • Put clear timing and location (or the online link) in the description so people can plan.
  • Use capacity when space is limited so Going stays meaningful.
  • Share events that match your network's skills or city for better turnout.
